Week 15 Reading Notes: The Dead Mother

 There was once a couple who had a child. They were envied by everyone else in the village. However, the mother died when she gave birth to their child. The father hired an old women to take care of the child because he was unable to feed it. The baby would cry and cry with the old women. At night someone would come into the house and the baby would stop crying. This would happen for many nights until the village people decided to investigate. They found out it was the dead mother feeding the baby every night. When she saw the village looking at her, she left. The baby was dead.
